Hi, I'm Jamie Fury.

About

I like building things that work. Most of my projects start as "I wonder if I could..." and end up as real applications. I work across the stack: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, PHP, some Rust when I need speed. I run my own servers too, which means I've gotten good at fixing things at 2am.

Before coding, I spent 5 years in home health care working with disabled children, then 7 years driving trucks cross-country. Both taught me to figure things out on my own and follow through when it matters.

I have an AS in Business Administration and did bootcamps for React Native and front-end development.

Right now I freelance and take on project work while caring for family full time. My mom, my wife, my daughter, and others who need me. I work best remotely, and I'm always open to new opportunities. I never stop learning. If I'm not building something, I'm figuring out how to build the next thing.

QR code generator with a free tier and a Pro version. Pro lets you customize colors, add logos, export to different formats, and track scans. I built the payment flow and license system myself.

FFXI All-in-One Server

Setting up a FFXI private server normally means installing Git, Visual Studio, Python, MariaDB, compiling code, importing 127 SQL files. Most people give up. This app? Download, install, click Play. Built with Tauri/Rust.

Recruiting Tracker

Candidate tracking app with multi-device sync. Wrote a PHP API to handle the sync with conflict detection. Electron + SQLite.
